Grey tank issue

Can anyone explain why I would gat a backup in the kitchen sink before the tub when grey tank is full. Doesn’t seem logical. The drains must be 30 in. apart vertically. Are all showers/tubs connected to the grey tank?

Our unit has two separate grey tanks - one for kitchen and one for bath

My kitchen sink backs up when my galley tank is full. My shower pan backs up when my gray tank is full.

You might consider telling us which unit you have and who made it.

FR Cherokee 234 VFK. Only has one grey tank. Also, issue resolved itself when the tank was emptied. Thinking it might have had a second trap created somewhere in the line and air between. The tank was full but never saw any sign of a backup in the tub.

Your unit might have an RV waterless "P" Trap installed. It will not allow backup.
