Took out our 2017 Sonoma for our first time. I turned on the heat, which I assume we can only use with gas. Is that correct? Not able to hook up to electricity? The floor duct in the kitchen blew out lots of heat. The duct, in the floor in the bathroom and bedroom, not so much. In fact barely any. Is this normal? I can see the silver duct when I look into the hole. Thank you!

The duct could be blocked or disconnected.
Remove a register and take your phone and see if you can take a picture looking down the duct. You may be able to see if anything is blocking it.

You may have to remove a couple of registers in order to see the length of the duct.

The furnace is propane only. You could have blockage or crushed ducting.

The furnace is propane fired and uses 12 DC for the blower so yes, you can use the furnace when not connected to shore power as long as you have sufficient propane and battery.

As for the air flow... R/V manufacturers are notorious for crushing ducts, misrouting ducts and otherwise simply not paying attention to sealing up the ducting. If you are so inclined, you'll need to investigate your ducting or take it to someone qualified.

There could be one or two hot air ducts loose from the heat exchanger chamber. Look for the cold air return, it will be approx 12" x 12" or larger. Remove the panel with a #2 phillips or square screwdriver and you should be able to see the ducts connected to the hot air chamber. Sometimes it doesn't take much jostling for them to come loose.
