Heated hose

Can a heated hose male end be replaced? I pretty much know this would be deemed a modification, it has a bad crimp.

I would say "it depends".

If old crimped end can be removed and new one installed without damaging heating element then yes.

Demending on where "crimp" is bad, it may be possible to wrap with some hose repair tape ( tightly) and back it up with a hose clamp.

How old is heated hose? Might check with manufacturer. Many will replace outside of warranty as they may have seen bad batches sent out in past.

Worst they will do when you call is to say no.

heated hose

Hey there! The hose is 2 yrs. old, and I believe the male end to br distorted, because I had it running straight out, instead of using a 90 degree adapter. I just don't know if that end has anything to do with grounding, or otherwise com pleting a circuit.

The hose ends shouldn't be part of the electrical system that provides the heat.
