Help finding fitting

Hey everyone, first post, first time pup owner. Just picked up a 2014 Rockwood 2280 BH and have been checking all the systems out. It appears it wasnít properly winterized as I have found a cracked water filter housing (already fixed) and also the trap for the sink is cracked. The trap is glued to the elbow that protrudes thru the wall to the outside. I have never seen a fitting like this with the extended external threads. I have found every other drain fitting/flush mount for this camper, but not this piece. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Check a pool store for that grey threaded piece, it looks like a piece that I used on my pool filter.

Where is it broken? Maybe just buy another p-trap same size and replace just the broken section.

The trap is glued to the elbow with the external threads. I think Iíve got a plan to fix it.

I looked at those threads on pipe they look like they were made by a hand held pipe threader. I have threaded pvc pipe and they dont come out as clean as a foctory made pipe with threads.

Did your plan work? If so, mind describing it? Might help someone down the line.

Thanks

That piece is made with the threads on it, the threads are perfectly formed despite how the picture appears. Definitely not cut with a pipe threader.

I am working on rev 2...and not all the parts have arrived for rev 1!

My research led me to this piece from Amazon, this is what makes my solution possible.

http://LASCO RV281 Swivel Tray Plug ..._xwfiFb0RSC8MV

I ended up cutting the threaded part off of the 90 and cleaned up the threads. The part from Amazon threads onto it and adapts it to a 1 1/2Ē solvent weld socket.

From here it will be connected to a HEPVO waterless trap and then to 1 1/4 hose barb to connect to the sink. I will post pictures when I have it done.

Looks like you got yourself a unicorn there. The RV mfg might be able to help.

You might be able to build one that will work out of a standard P-trap and an ABS Plain to Threaded Nipple.
