Help with black tank valve rod

Looking for thoughts suggestions. I have now lost the valve rod on my black tank waste valve twice. Both times on the way to the same casmpground! Maybe shouldn't go back there

Anyway, has anyone experienced this and what was your solution. Don't mind buying a replacement rod but hate it when I'm at the campground for the weekend with no way to open and dump tank.

Thanks.

That's kinda what I figured. It's hard finding a replacement rod. I can find the extensions but you need the original rod to add the replacement to. My valve is also under the belly pan so a bit of a pain to get to. Thanks for your reply.
