Exclamation HELP with City Water Leaking under floor

I have a 2010 Forest River Salem and there is a leak somewhere above the grey water tank or slightly forward of it. I know it is not the water tanks as they are all empty as I just bought the camper. I hooked up the city water to check the lines and water began pouring into the TOP of the water barrier in the undercarriage and mostly coming out of the hole in the barrier that is the grey water drain hole under the shower. The shower piping is dry and the kitchen piping is dry. The leak seems to be somewhere between these two entry exit holes in the floor.
Has anyone fixed this and does anyone know where the city water taps into the water system? I do not really want to cut open every panel of the water barrier, drop the grey water tank or open up the floor if I can avoid it. Forest River and their dealers are of no help in understanding the pipe layouts on this model. PLEASE HELP if you can! And Thanks!

Are you sure the city water isn't filling the fresh water tank and water is coming out of the fresh water tank over flow? Do you have a way to see how much water is in the fresh water tank?

Exclamation No water in tanks

There is no water in the tanks. I connected city water to the port and ran water into the system with any taps open. Immediately, water started pouring out of the water barrier through the hole when the shower/tub grey water drain exits. The leak appears to be somewhere between the kitchen sink and the bathroom and it occurred when I ran water into the city water line. I am trying to understand where the city water T junctions into the main water line as I feel this is a good place to start.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?
Thanks!
Marshall

No idea what model you have but a 2010 Salem trailer is about 15 years old. Hard to find someone with the same trailer and the same exact issue / leak location. (Salem has at least 10 models each year)

My guess is the lines were not winterized properly and you have a leak somewhere due to this. My only suggestion is start near where you think the leak is.

You say there is no water in the fresh water tank (it does not drain through the waste tanks (grey and black). The fresh tank has its own small drain.

Do not open up the floor. Take the underbelly off if needed. But most of the plumbing (fresh water) is in the walls and cabinets.

Thanks for the comments. I understand it is a long shot to find someone with a 2010 Salem LE (8.5' X 22') but I thought I would try. The city water comes from the exterior wall into the cabinet under the sink and then goes under the floor towards the bathroom but there is only one cold water line coming up to the tub water lines which tells me that the junction between the city water and the internal water system is in this area. Underneath the camper, I am negotiating around the heating ducts and the grey water tank. I made one cut but only exposed the heating duct metal siding. There are two softer areas next to it but I am trying to avoid cutting multiple areas to find the piping.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to open up the suspect area underneath and find the plumbing. Removing either the Coroplast (plastic cardboard) or the fabric isn't ever an easy job but you gotta do what you have to do. Many of us have been there and done that and feeling around through a mis-cut hole just won't get it done.

I would check your water pump first, make sure something wasn’t unhooked when it was winterized.
Then check your water heater on the outside, water can come out there and I “looks” like it is coming from underneath.

Did you check the following.
1. Inline water filter loose or not in place?
2. Water Heater drain /anode rod not in place?

If the TT was winterized before you bought it, it could be either of these.

I had a leak that was only noticable when connected to city water. We always turn off our pump when not using it, so on the pump we never saw the leak.

Our hot water heater had rusted through and had a pinhole leak. Not much water until connected to city water for 3 days. Noticed wet carpet but took a few hours to figure out from where.
