Home Sewage Disposal
All,
Our house is FINALLY beginning construction, so I'll soon be able to park the camper at home.
Unfortunately, due to terrain, I can only park the camper on the side of the house opposite to where the septic will be. So I won't be able to add a dump port to the septic.
I always dump before we leave the CG, just to not have to tow extra weight. But I would like to be able to do a fill and enzyme treatment at the end of every season.
What would be the best option to dump the trailer after that?
I'm thinking macerator.
I don't know if there will be any plumbing cleanouts on that side, but I really doubt there would be. But I don't know for sure.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are just filling the black tank just to clean, The emaciator may be overkill, going to be just liquid?

Mostly, I assume. But you need the pump action with it, right?

Since the house is under construction can you have a cleanout installed where you want it? Now would be the time.

I could probably just drive across the yard and dump directly. I’ll have to wait and see how far down the slope it will be.

Before we go down the repetitive “build an access now” route, I have to figure out an idea that doesn’t include that option.
Thanks.

Being a plumber, I would just install a pump crock/pit wherever I was going to keep my RV. I would install a sewage ejector pump in the pit and dig a ditch from there to the closest place I could connect a 2” drain/pump discharge line to the sewer system, whether that connection is inside or outside of the house would make no difference to me.
There are so many other simple solutions.

I have a similar situation where my TT's pad is at the opposite end of the house from sewer access. A Flowjet macerator pump solved my problem. I can easily reach the cleanout from my TT with 3/4" hose.
Makes it really nice if the dump stations are lined up with others on their way home. I can dump at home and take all the time I want
The pump also comes in real handy when I'm boondocking. If my tanks fill and I'm not ready to leave yet I just pump contents into a Rhino 28 gal tote I keep in my pickup bed. Then off to a dump station without having to move my TT. Also no lifting of a full tote as I merely fill it and empty it while sitting in the truck.

Where we are the cows have to be fenced off the river so they do not poop in it. So dumping human waste on the ground it a serious issue.

Since you can't put a septic drain or clean out on the other side of the house where you need it, can you have them put a clean out close enough to the street on the septic side so you can reach it with 30' of hose or so?
On a side note, be sure and mark on a map or an aerial photo where septic and leach lines are now, before you forget in a few years

I’m asking the builder when I can. But I think a pump is probably the answer.

Yep, a macerator pump is a good solution for you.
The only thing I didn't like about them was you don't get that 'whoosh' that helps carry solids out of the tank. I had to fill and drain many more times to get it as clean as my anal habits told me it had to be

If the black tank has a flush device installed that handles the lack of "whoosh".
As for gray tank, no reason why a flush device couldn't be installed on that tank too although I've never had an issue with that tank on any of my TT's.
