Is there an adapter to connect my washer 3/4 HPT to my shower hose or diverter which is 1/2 IPS. Tired of hose stretched across bathroom from the sink faucet adapter.
go to a plumbing store not home depot. garden hose thread to pipe thread , yes i had one but dont remember where i got it. maybe in the Specialty trays at a plumbing supply. like Ace Hardware , trays.
I have found adapters from 3/4 HPT to 1/2 pipe thread Which I believe is tapered but not for the 1/2 inch straight thread (IPS) which seals on the end with a gasket as opposed to the sides of tapered pipe.
