Hose coverage yes/no?

I bought a few of those pool noodles from dollar tree and covered the water hose up thinking maybe it will help with the weather beating up the hose. Anybody try it or am I just making it look pretty? LOL

It really can't hurt having them on,Cheap enough ,I used pipe insulation foam sections to extend the drain run off so the water doesn't splash all over the ground.

Well.....I have a hose at my house that's at least 8 years old and it stays out year around. (I unhook and drain it in the winter) It never gets covered.

I think that a hose with pool noodles on it being “pretty” is also debatable.
