Hot water heater

I have a 2017 forest river vibe 268rks. I am camping for the 1st time and im not connected to a water source. Had to fill fresh tank. Im not sure how to operate the hot water? Do i have to turn the outside switch on as well as the inside switch? I am hooked to electric only.

This FAQ should help explain the two modes of operation:

Make sure your water pump is turned on, and your hot water tank is filled before turning on the water heater.....since you are not connected to city water.

You also probably need to read this thread to assure your water heater valves are correct, and how to verify there is water in the tank...BEFORE you operate the water heater:

You are welcome. If after reading those links, you don't understand something, please feel free to ask for clarification.

You don't want to mess anything up. We are here to help one another.

P.S. glancing at your username, did you mean to spell it that way, or was it just a typo. I can change it to ABIGAIL09 (not abigial) if you prefer?
