How far will water pump pull water from?

We have a Cherokee grey wolf 26 ft that we keep at our lake lot and currently just fill up the trailer fresh water tank from a 250 gallon water tank. I was trying to figure out the best way to just pull the water straight out of the 250 gallon tank. From the water pump to the tank it's about 25ft or so. I have run some pvc pipe under the trailer from 250 gallon tank to the fresh water inlet so I don't have to keep pulling out hoses out when I need to fill it. I use a 12v transfer pump to pump the water from one tank to the other.

I have access to the water pump inlet under the trailer. If I run the pipe to that and connect it will the water pump have enough power to pull from the outside tank? Or would it be better to get another water pump and put it next to outside water tank and have it go into the city water connection?

Thanks for the help
