How to fill fresh water tank

I must acquired a 2005 FW Sunseeker Class C but cannot figure out how to fill the fresh water tank. We've tried hooking up the hose to the city water connection, the connection next it, turning the valve next to the tank located under the bed, pump on, pump off, etc. Can someone please help me to do this in the right order?

You can use this nozzle on your garden hose to fill the tank. Just insert into the fresh water fill opening. When the tank is full, a vent on the mouth will flow water out to let you know.

Turns out, the connection was blocked by a piece of the back flow that had broken off. Thank you so much for your help though, much appreciated.

Can you post a picture of the original connection you connect to? It sounds like you may have hooked your drinking water hose to the black tank rinse connection. I am basing this on your explanation that you connected your hose to the city water connection and the connection next to it. If this is the case you will want to disinfect your fresh water hose before you use it for drinking water again.

This is the only fresh water tank fill. Our model doesn't appear to have a black water flush.

Probably not. Black water flush is pretty standard now, but not back in 2005. Glad you found the solution.
You do know that the fresh water system has to be sanitized before using?

Yes, thank you for the tip. We added a cup of bleach to the tank after filling and are letting it sit overnight before we drain and rinse. I also bought a cartridge replacement for the filter. Thanks again, I can use all the help I can get

Most people end up removing the filter. They are prone to breakage and leaks.

My tank, located under the bed has a cap on the top. After finally figuring out how to fill the tank with water through the hose connection, I just unscrewed the cap on top of the tank and poured in a cup of bleach. Let stand for 12-24 hours then turn on the pump and all the faucets until the tank empties. Be sure to rinse the system by filling and draining again. Good luck

The way I do it is to put the bleach in my fill hose, attach both ends of the hose to each other and move it around to sanitize the hose, then I fill my fresh water tanks as per normal and the bleach I put in the hose ends up in the tank.

Does it say sewer out connection, where the hose is connected to?

It dies say that but it is located below the frame. If you look above, it states for potable water.

I'm a bit confused here: The label above the water hose does say "Potable water only". But the label below the hose states: "Sewer hose connection".

Agreed, that definitely added to myconfusion. Turns out that label refers to the black water tank dump connection just below the label, under the coach.
