Ice Maker Water Line
Recently, I noticed some wiring to the slideout hanging a little low underneath so I crawled down there to secure it in a more safe manner. Included in that wiring "loom" was the water line which supplies our residential refrigerator. But I soon realized the jacklegs at FR crushed the line in the slideout mechanism. Those two bolts that you can adjust the slideout were crimped down on this line.
Of course, I had to remove it and once I did, the hole in the line was exposed. Fortunately, the water line has a shut-off valve. So for now, we by bagged ice. No big deal.
This is a really small diameter water line. Yes, I could just replace the whole thing but that means pulling out part of the couch and then "unsecuring" the fridge and pulling it out. That's a hassle as I've already had to do it before when the compressor went bad.
Before I even try to venture to the hardware store, does anyone know if there is something that can repair this line? Its such a small diameter line, I worry a repair doesn't exist.
