Icemaker

I have a Furrion refrigerator. when the ice drops into the tray, it seems like it’s melting. When it collects in the tray, it makes one big lump of ice! I don’t understand why this is happening. anyone with any answers.

Not familiar with the refrigerator you have BUT I went through a similar scenario with my home fridge. The liner in the ice tray in the “maker” is damaged by hard water/age etc and it drips down into the ice bin melting the ice, then freezing in a lump.

It's always helpful if you posted what model number the fridge is.

You could put one of these in your freezer and refrigerator to monitor the temperature.

It's possible that your refrigerator goes into an automatic defrost mode and the temperature in the freezer gets low enough to melt the ice.

The fill tube to the ice maker may not be aligned and splashing water into the bin. Try to watch a cycle of the ice maker. Before you go to bed, You can lift the arm and shut off the next dump. When you get up in the morning put the arm down and watch the cycle. It take 3 to 5 minutes to complete.

The other thing that can happen is the ice maker heats up to release the ice cubes. If it is heating for too long it will partially melt the ice and you'll get a clump in your ice bin as it refreezes
