We use Scott's regular household TP good for septic tanks.... most likely cheaper. And use LOTS of water!!

I have always heard special RV paper was needed to prevent clogs. Household paper seemed a no-no!

You will get all sorts of advice on tp. All of it is good for use in an rv if you can put it in a jar of water and it breaks up in 10 minutes when you shake the jar. Some folks like to spend extra money on RV Only tp, but that's just a waste of money IMO. If you use it at home, use it in your rv.

Personally I have always used the same at home as in the rv. As long as it is septic safe I don't even worry about it. My home runs on a septic system so I have always been looking for the septic safe stuff.

Don't think anyone suggested shaking for 10 minutes.

I would think that TP would be fine. Just stay away from the heavy stuff.

We just use the normal stuff we always buy (whatever is on sale at COSCO or Sams Club).

I just take an extra 10 minutes to turboflush to make sure all the un-dissolved TP is washed out.

Better that than the complaints about the harsh TP.

Yes it is, but why spend the money for it?

Do as others above have suggested and try the stuff you use at home, couple of sheets in some water for 10 min.

We use the same TP that we use at home ( we are on a septic system at home) Not always the same brand but usually septic safe. No issues in 30 years of camping.

I use the same brand I use at home. To be sure it was safe I put some toilet paper in a sealed container with water and shook it. The toilet paper just basically dissolved so I assume it's safe for my RV.
