It finally happened!!!

On our way back to home the outside sewer(black&gray water) piping got ripped off! I did not notice it until we stopped for gas. The tanks look OK so I am thinking that it should be an easy fix if I can find parts. The valves are not a problem as they are available from Camping World, the wye fitting is my question part. Are the plumbing parts standard fitting sizes? Any advice/help is greatly appreciated.

It almost sounds like you were expecting this to happen.....judging by your title.

You don’t mention what make and model you have and where the piping is located. It would help if you include these in your signature, or detail these things when making a posting. And as always......pictures are best.

The travel trailer is a 2014 Wildwood X-lite model 251RLXL. No pics of the missing connections.

Home Depot and Lowes too. Sometimes finding the right combination of size and angle on the "Y" connector is difficult but local RV shops often stock them.

If you think like a plumber, identify where the liquid starts and where you want it to go, then it's merely a matter of using your creativity and working with what you have. Might even end up with a better, easier to use, system than what the factory created.

Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot, hell, I think I would try to duct tape beer cans together before I went to CW. Oops, guess I tipped my hand there.

Parts and glue are available at a number of places, including CW. This is not thread about feelings toward CW.

A couple months back I backed into a site a the CG and a rock hit the drain system. It popped the flange on the Y pipe for the drain but fortunately on the "outbound" side of the valve. The fix was pretty easy once I pulled all the parts off. Each of the parts had a Valterra part number on it and I went to Etrailer and ordered exactly what I needed. I erred on the side of caution and got a new valve as well as the Y pipe and I think it was less than $30 bucks.

Hope this helps.

Why? They’re as good a place as any to purchase the items. Our local CW store is very well stocked and is competitive on pricing. And yes, I know about the bad experiences purchasing RV’s there.
