Kitchen faucet

2018 Cherokee 264ck kitchen faucet has very little water pressure. Bathroom, shower and outdoor faucets have good pressure. Anyone else have this issue? The kitchen faucet does better in “shower mode”, but just plain awful on “single stream”mode.

aerator could be clogged. take it off and clean it in vinegar or lime away, etc.

Thanks for the info Chickdoe! It seems that the faucet has been performing like that since we have had the rv. I just recently sanitized the water lines about 2 weeks ago with bleach solution. I’m thinking about taking it apart or replacing it altogether.

Many new RVs come with installation/construction debri pre-installed in water lines that will clog aerators.
While I always replace the cheap OEM faucets, trying to clean yours first would be a cheap fix

This is a truth. On my old travel trailer, I had never used the water pump in the three years (at the time) that I owned it. But we decided to fill the water tank to use if we needed when Hurricane Ike was coming to town. When I turned on the pump, all I got was a dribble of water...at best. So I found the pump, and took apart the filter, and this is what I found. That is primarily sawdust, but other bits of junk and stuff. This was a brand new camper I bought, but again, just never used the pump until then.

I noticed there is silver braided water line under kitchen sink. Can that be replaced with a larger diameter water line or is it that size for a reason? I noticed this water line is not under the bathroom sink

It is probably just the standard braided supply line that is used for sinks everywhere. Pretty standard size and better than most supply lines I have seen in RVs. I don't think a larger line will do anything to improve your faucet output. But I am fairly positive that cleaning the aerator or replacing the faucet will

If you’re looking for better water pressure unscrew the aerator on the faucet head and clean it out.
