No water at all at hot, or cold on both sides?

On the hot side, is it cold, or no water at all? You know, turn it in and nothing comes out, or cold water comes out.

If you had hot there before check your bypass, if never had hot trace pipes to see if both attached to cold feed.

Time to look underneath. Sounds as though they teed into main gallery for cold water 2 X instead of one for cold and one for healed water!

If you had hot water before, then I would dismantle hot water valve on kitchen faucet and clean it from possible debris....

Do you get cold water when the "hot" is full blast and cold is OFF, or no or low flow?

Do you have an on-demand (tankless) water heater...or a tank type?

The reason I ask, is the tankless kind have to have a certain amount of water flow for the heater to kick on. If your aerator or such in the kitchen may have become partially clogged from the other day till now, then you aren't getting enough water flow at that point for the on-demand water heater to turn on...when using that faucet.

If you have a tank type water heater, then the above is not applicable.

Don't get frustrated too early. A lot of talented guys here have just run into the wall and fell flat. You have a lot of traffic here someone is going to get it, maybe you.

This is an excellent observation. When you just use the hot water side or valve alone, is the water pressure and volume the same as when you use the cold water side or valve alone?

Is the flow and pressure the same as the bathroom?

Is the kitchen sink in a slide? Perhaps the hot water pipe is pinched?

Is there an outside shower between the water source (outside connection or water pump) and the kitchen sink? It is possible the shower wand shutoff is closed and the cold/hot valves are open allowing cold water to mix with the hot when the sink is used.
