When I reapplied the silicone adhesive I first had cut two supports from scrap lumber to act as supports under the sink, wait 24 hours for silicone to dry.
I used a different clip than what came on my sink. I found them at the local Home Improvement store "Menards" store so look around.
Pre mark where you want to locate the clips as you only have 6 min before the epoxy starts to set up. Using the 2 part epoxy, mix and place on the round perforated disk and stick to underside of cabinet top (cover the bolt side of the disk with painters tape to keep the epoxy from oozing out and falling onto a surface not intended for. It will look ugly but if someone wants to stick their head under the sink, let 'em). I modified the clips a bit by measuring on the straight portion of the clip 1/2 inch and bending it (see picture). This will give the clip more holding effort.
I waited for 3 hours before I completed the assembly of the clips and 24 hours before I tightened the wing nuts down.
Hope all of this helps. Any questions, please reply through the link or send to my email
