They are deff put on tight from the factory. Give it a firm steady push with your white wrench.... it will come off. Just put a gallon ziplock baggie or something around it to catch the water that will spill.

It's not a huge deal but my little 15TB trailer used just over 1gal to winterize... now I can get it under 1gal.
