Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Do you have a question about how to fix a leak? Without a pic of the mystery cylinder it could be many things. Filter, expansion tank, who knows.

What is the black thing with the square bottom. (Not the vent on the right.) It has a blue hose coming from outside the wall(only thing there is the black tank flusher)and a red hose. The red hose is sharply bent.
Found a leak under the sink shortly after we got to the cg. I installed a pressure regulator and it stopped. Two weeks later it started up again. The black thing is all wet. Either it is cracked or the bent hose is cracked. Can't see it good enough to tell which because it's up behind the sink. I will have to remove the sink to fix it.
If thats the black tank flush hose going in it, what the heck is the red(usually hot) hose for?

I think you’re looking at the anti siphon/ vacuum breaker for the black tank rinser. It prevents black water from contaminating the fresh water when in use.

Thanks, I was beginning to think that too. Could that cause a leak? I imagine anti freeze doesn't get up there. We had a lot hard freezes where we are in Texas for the winter.

Looks like it is installed upside down. The only time it should have pressure on it is when flushing the black tank, and if it is upside down then I would expect it to leak.

Thank you much! Now I can hook the water back up. I won't use the flusher until we get home.
