Major Difficulty Filling Fresh Water Tank in Forrester TS

Unable to fill freshwater holding tank. Repairperson has said that it's because the hose dips down to go under a slide and then up into tank. He suggested putting a hose all the way through to the tank. But, wouldn't that cause a problem in ventilation when filling? Anyone else have this problem?

Make sure your tank vent hose is not kinked .

Get a washing machine hose or a cheap 1/2" garden hose.
Cut it 4 or 5 feet long from the Female end. That's the end that
goes on a faucet.
Get another hose to go from faucet to RV.
Connect the hoses but it helps if you put a hose ball valve
at the junction between hoses. See photo... they come in brass or even plastic. Find them in the garden hose section but may be difficult to find
this time of year.

Stuff the cut hose in the fill port as far as you can.
Turn on faucet and ball valve.
Cross your fingers.
This usually works.

Good luck!
