Angry May have drilled thru my vent pipe in my black tank

May have drilled thru my vent pipe in my black tank. I have a 2001 forest river 29 ft sunseeker. decided to install a tank sprayer in my tank when i drilled the one inch hole i also drilled a hole in what looks like a inch and half black pvc pipe in the tank, have i hit the vent pipe and if so do i have a problem. to say the least im a little upset and hope i didnt really screw up, any help would be appericated.

You can patch it with a coupler if you saw a coupler in two lengthwise and glue both halves to the pipe and install a hose clamp to it. Make sure you use plenty of cement on the inside of the coupler AND to the edges where you cut it. Not a major job, just a little messy and takes a little time.

IF, the vent pipe you drilled thru is inside the tank, don't worry about it. In fact, if it is inside the tank, I would try to cut it off and pull the end out of the tank thru the discharge hole, otherwise it will eventually block the discharge. You might be able to cut it loose on the roof and pull it up to cut the end off and then shove it back into the tank and re-anchor it at the roof.

vent pipe

thanks for the fast reply. the pvc pipe is inside the black tank, cutting a bigger hole to repair the pipe is not an option, had to patch the one inch hole i made already, hope it holds. pulling the vent it self might be more than i may want to do, since im not familiar with the system.thanks for your help.
