New faucet with spray for kitchen

Hey folks .. I have a 2022 Rockwood 2511s ... I want to swap out the faucet for one with a retracting sprayer .. I looked online and saw mostly larger home style ..

- Has anyone done this - and do you have a link to the product?
- How challenging is it to swap out? I haven't even looked

Oh, and lesson learned - in the spring shake down, tighten the hot and cold hook ups to the faucets - I had a small leak that went all night .. easy to fix, but now I'll tighten each spring as well.

Thanks

My experience is that the mounting holes are standard household sink dimensions. Choose any faucets you want usually one hole or 3 hole. .

As far as size there is a world of possibilities

Pretty standard with 8" centers. the critical part is making sure that the new fixture will mount to you existing water supply lines. Some of residential faucets are 1/2", others are 3/8". Just so you know.

Fortunately, the worst case scenario means one more trip to the big box store for adapters. Often, it's those armored flex hoses. It seems like you can get them with any combination of fittings on the ends.

I did it with a nice Moen. Removed the crappy RV specific fittings and used shark bite shut off valves on the PEX, which the faucet supply lines connected directly to.

My cheapo factory faucet blew a hose off the base of the faucet. We caught it quickly, because we were boondocking and the pump started running for "no reason."

Went to a nearby True Value and found a great faucet with a pull-out spray head and installed it in a few minutes...we were down for only about 3 hours...most of that driveing to the hardware store, shopping for a faucet we liked, and driving back. The swap took no time.

I have switched two faucets. The issue is being able to get at the plumbing fixtures. On some RVs it is nearly impossible. My last one with a sprayer, cost 40 bucks on Amazon. It was a residential unit so I had to by two adapters as others have said for 20 dollars at ACE. On Amazon the cost is 10 dollars for both.

On my Coachman, it is my opinion that the manufacturer mounted the faucet
on the sink prior to placing the sink in the kitchen counter.
