New toilet not holding water

So after dealing with two leaking dometic 300s within two seasons I decided to install a Thetford Aqua Magic V. It was literally the only other toilet I could find that would fit.

Anyway the new Thetford will not hold water in the bowl. I greased the seal with plumbers grease and filled with hot water to try to get a seal. Full bowl empties in minutes.

Has anyone had this problem and how did you remedy it? Toilet is brand new, has not been used yet. Trying to figure it out before getting ahold of Thetford.

Thanks in advance!

Most likely that the blade seal got pinched or installed wrong during mfg and now won't seal. I would call them and have them send me a new seal. They're pretty easy to replace if you're handy.
