Newbie with a water issue

It’s the evening the dealership is closed,
Brand new Geo Pro 19fd thank God we are still home... But suppose to leave on first trip in a couple days!

Emptied the fresh water tanks that the deal put their water in. We put in the manufactures water filter as directed. Refilled with clean new hose with new extra water filter attached.
Now with fresh water tank at 2/3 full with pump on water spits out for about 2 mins. Then stops tuning all together?????

Welcome to the forum. You might check to see by the water pump if there is a valve to turn that is used to winterized may be turned wrong. Later RJD

If WH was empty it can take a few minutes until it fills and water begins to run again. Also check to see there is no air leak on water filter housing.

There are a lot of lines to get primed plus the 6 gallon water heater. I would hook my hose into the city water connection and open all the faucets until everything stopped burping. Then turn off the water hose and see how the pump works.

If the previous inputs don't help pull the faucet aerators to see if they might be clogged.

Thanks that is where we are at. Continued to be the same . Works ok on city connection. It is when we disconnect and use the tank.

Just before the pu be a small screen filter. If the cover is loose or the oring is not seated it will suck air and have a hard time priming.
Be sure that the valve to the something house is not open.

Thanks for posting back. I have the same water miser in my shower. Never thought it could cause this.

Water Miser valve?

Where is this, or can you post a pic?

I'm confused. The water miser valve is usually between the shower hot valve and the shower head. So for it to be engaged at all, your shower valve would have to be open also. Same on the sink miser device. And it shouldn't matter if you were on pump or city pressure, the valve would act the same (divert water to fresh tank instead of shower head).
Just trying to understand, and wondering if your factory installed shower miser is plumbed differently from mine.

Okay, been thinking more about this. Your return line must be plumbed right behind the pump on the suction side. So when you are trying to prime the pump with the miser valve in the wrong position, the pump is drawing in air from the shower Miser return line instead of pulling only from the fresh tank?
My miser return line is plumbed to the top of the fresh tank, so for us, it doesn't matter what position the miser valve is in until we open the shower valves. The pump always draws only from the tank, instead of the return line and the tank.
Make any sense? Maybe I answered my own question

X2
Mine is plumbed so that you'd have to have the shower valves open and the miser valve closed in order to affect the flow and/or temp.
