No hot water

Don't have the model right off hand but I drained the WH and NO impurities came out - just plain, clean water. I'm new to this and was thinking the anode rod was shot. But it has no anode rod. What other apparatus would cause the problem? What's an estimated cost on a repair? Thx a mil!

Don't really understand what your problem is. The title says no hot water, but you don't mention that in the post. Not all water heaters have anode rods that Forest River uses.

The make/model of your water heater is really important for us to help you troubleshoot exactly what your problem may be.

Was the water heater working yesterday, is this something new for the season, etc? Are you trying to heat water on propane, electric, etc? We need a lot more details than you are providing. You have to help us, help you.

Was the drain plug a nylon plug? Are you trying to run on propane or electric. Are you connected to shore power. How is water being supplied to the WH?
