non-slip shower strips

Despite the surface being textured a little, the floor of the shower pan is pretty slick. I think it's an accident waiting to happen. Has anyone been successful adding non-slip adhesive shower strips or something like that?

I tried to do that in our Mini-Lite using generic Walmart strips. They wouldn't stick because the surface of the shower pan is uneven. (Yes, I cleaned it first.)

If anyone knows of a product that works, please advise.
