I may be wrong, and it's quite possible since I am new to this, but I think the low points only drain out the freshwater plumbing. ???

I was able to follow your first two sentences, but your last paragraph has my head spinning.

Yes, in the 378 the two plugs outside near the FW tank and pump will drain hot/cold water lines on one plug and the FW tank with the other plug. I use a air connector to hose adaptor on the inlet connector for city water. Then blow one faucet at a time. Remove hoses from washer dryer and blow those connections into a bucket. Remove large plug in front of washer behind the kickplate. Have a towel handy about 1 pint of water will come out. Check this forum search line for winterizing tips! Good luck with it. Read your refrig book if you have ice cuber and water on door.

Good grief !...I dictated this message as traveling down the highway...And it looks like there was a lot of interference....
For those of you who figured how what I was getting at, thanks for the response.
I was saying do's and don't 's....must must have been thinking about donuts.
We checked weather forecast for low temps and decided we could get one more short trip before winterizing!

Two plugs = drains piping and FW tank. Larger tube tank overflow.

it also will help a lot, if you post the year, make and model of RV, when asking such a specific question like this.
