outside shower question

I have a outside shower on my Windjammer like most RV's. The hose that connects the faucet to the shower head developed a leak in a kink. The outside shower gets little use, but I like to have everything working as it should. The hose connects to the faucet then weaves through the side of the enclosure before coming out with the shower head. Sounds simple to replace. There are 2 small cutouts to weave the hose through, no room to work. I tried numerous times today to thread the hose, but there is just no room. Any suggestions, short of pulling the whole shower assembly out and feeding it that way. The hose is prone to kinking to the limited space it is stored. Gotta be a better way. Worse comes to worse I guess I could just connect it when camping and take the hose assembly off when packing up. Any help would be helpful. Thanks

I had that going on last year. On mine, with the bathroom in the V ,there is a plumbing chase behind where the toilet sets. I had previously deconstructed it and reconfigured the top of the chase to be a screw on lid. This gave access to everything along the outside wall including the back of the shower connections. Curiously enough a low point drain cap with washer can be used to disconnect the shower and put an end to a PIA IMO. I also noticed that the bead of clear Proseal was cracked around the periphery of the outside of the shower box to the fiberglass and all along both sides of the V where the fiberglass meets the tan sheetmetal flashing. Check yours. My friend also has a V with the same thing going on.
