Outside shower quick connect

I've searched this subforum and find nothing that answers my question.

I've seen replacement outside shower faucet sets that have quick connects. E.g., the example below.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016EE5IRK

Instead of replacing the whole thing, is there a practical way to fit a quick connect into the existing faucet? I don't want to break mine while taking it off to look. If you know the answer or have done it (or know that it's a bad idea), I'd appreciate your sharing that information.

Thanks

google McMaster - Carr they carry all sizes and shapes of quick connect fittings might be best to take your hose or shower head off and measure the size you need
