Pipe pooling water - mystery?!

Hello everyone, I currently have a 2016 Forest River Surveyor 201RBS.

This morning I noticed that there is visible pooling water in the drain of my bath tub, just below the drain grate (picture below - you can slightly see the reflection in the water. But if you can't it's about 3 inches below the grate)

It does not overflow, however, it seems odd that there would be water trapped right there in the pipe and for the life of me I can't figure this one out. I just drained my gray water tank. Any ideas?

Just the same as domestic plumbing, the water in the P trap creates a seal preventing the odour / sewer gases passing into the home
