Plumbing question

I have a Wildwood T22 and I've been trying to figure out why i have such little water flow throughout the camper. While cleaning up a bit i noticed that main (1 1/2"?) lines feed much smaller (1/2"ish) lines which then run to the faucets, toilet, and shower. I figured that this is probably just in order to conserve water and make it easier to run the smaller flexible lines rather than larger ridged lines. So i was wondering if i were to change out the smaller lines to match the larger, would it mess anything up or just give me better flow and make me be more conscious about water conservation when not hooked up? Thanks in advance everyone!

On my RV, I started using the cheap, non-adjustable water pressure regulator. When I changed to an adjustable pressure regulator, I set the PSI at 45 and flow improved in the RV. They run about $50 at RV stores. Next thing to check is your water filter. Some can restrict flow quite a bit. I use a water filter designed for home use and not for an RV -- gives me more gallons/minute. Final thing to check is for sand or obstructions in your lines. You have a filter at your toilet and most likely each faucet has a screen too that can clog if you've had hard water or sand build up.

My opinion is the size of your water lines is not the problem.

Good luck!

Well turns out that you were right. I noticed that the water pressure was much better when I was running on the pump. I figured that the filter might be bypassed when using the onboard fresh water. Replaced the water filter with a "premium" whirlpool whole home unit and the water pressure is GREAT! Thanks for the advice!
