Preasure leak help???

My water pump has started to come for about a second every 15-20 minutes or so.

I can't find any water leaks or dripping faucets.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Mel

I can think of a few possibilities. One is the obvious, that you have a very slow leak or loose fitting. The other is the diaphragm and/or backflow preventer in your pump needs a bump. I think you can 'reseat' these by turning off the pump, taking all the pressure off lines by opening a faucet or low point drains, then close and restart pump. Or by doing the above and hooking up to shore water. Or your pump might need replacing (pinhole in diaphragm). I'm sure others will have more ideas. Good luck!
