Has anyone invented a gauge that will talk to an iPad or an iPhone? It would save having to go look at the gauge. More importantly, you could configure the app to contact you if there is a “pressure event”.

As we used to say at the company I retired from "You can have something that does anything you want if you don't mind paying what it costs".
For $200 you can have this from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Pres.../dp/B015G5639K
A wireless pressure gauge for liquids and uses Android.
Don't know about alarms but you can save pressures for future analysis.
