prevent freeze up whil traveling

I've been thinking about placing a 12volt heater in the sub floor area of my 5th wheel to keep the lines from freezing up while traveling. I would turn it on when we are on the move and while camping would just use the furnace that has a duct into the sub floor. Has anyone ever tried this? Any info would be appreciated. thanks

Not sure if it would work traveling. Going use in basement somewhere during unless I can get work in the south.
