Pump cycling, water pressure oscillating

I have a 2013 8289. When in the shower using the pump the pump will cycle on and off. When the pump is on the pressure is good and the water temp is set proper, when it cycles off the pressure drops and the water temp gets hot. I understand this is a bypass pump, there should be some adjustments but I have not found any information on this.

Any info would be helpful. If I can't find anything I am going to go old school and put the old style on.
