Question about power switch on docking station
Hi - just bought a 2015 Spartan 3210 toy hauler, and have a question about the docking station. There is a power switch to the left of the black water tank rinse, and I have no idea what it does. Anyone able to help? Thanks!

I'd guess it's your battery cut-off switch. Can you post a pic?

There is a manual battery cut-off switch - pull out to disconnect, so that's not it. I don't have access to the rv tonight but will post a picture tomorrow. Thanks!!

Just purely a guess, but some toy haulers have fuel tanks for the toys, and these tanks have 12 volt fuel pumps. Could that be anything to do with it?

Nope, the fuel pump switch is at the back of the rv. This is the hookup panel, with city water, black water flush, cable/satellite, battery cut-off, and a shower/faucet. Could it be power to run water to the faucet/shower? The main water pump switch is inside on the main panel. Not sure why there would be another switch here. It's a puzzler and I feel kinda stupid for not being able to figure it out. And too chicken to just turn it on - the water tank is empty and we're not hooked to water yet.

Well. I found a youtube video on your model RV. You can see this switch at the 3:31 mark and the guy explains about everything in the docking station except it. LOL
It's not a fuel pump switch as it shows earlier in the video the fuel station.
I am curious now to what it is.
Do you possibly have a macerator pump on your RV, as that would make sense for where the switch is located?

No idea! I haven't seen anything about that in the documentation, but it's all written pretty darn generically. If nothing else, I'll be filling the tank to sanitize the system next weekend and at that point I'll be brave enough to flip the switch and see what it does.

I'll go with possibly a macerator pump at this stage, but it's just a guess. Maybe someone who really knows will chime in. We'll both get a good laugh if it's just a compartment light switch.

On my 5th, that switch turns the led lights in the front, lighting up your 5th wheel hitch.

I don't know if this is it but in mine, it's for the lights on the front end cap. Two l.e.d. lights on the front of the RV

No luck?
Tried the switch, but I don't see any lights turning on near the hitch. I don't think we have any lights near the hitch other than a manual on/off above the generator door. I'm attaching a picture of the panel. It's the switch next to the black tank flush. If anyone has other ideas, we'd appreciate the help!

Looks like the thing will light when on, does it? It could be a parallel water pump switch so if you need to run the pump no need to go inside. Kick it on and see if you hear anything.

Must be it. Yes, we heard something inside when we hit the switch. Mystery solved. Many thanks!
