Remote water heater switch on 34RLSA (2015 Cedar Creek)

Got a few questions on this specific 2015 Cedar Creek unit. Anyone ever add an interior switch to the main control panel for the electric side of the water heater?

If so, how do you access the back side of the switch on the water heater itself to tie the new switch in? Do you have to remove the whole water heater? Or can this be accessed from the back side of the water heater through the underbelly storage area?

Any how did you fish the wire to the control panel?

What switch did you use, and where did you put it on the panel?

Thanks for any help!!

What brand is a 34RLSA?

I am about to find out how mine is connected (if it ever dries out), so I can add an inline remote. But all units are so different. I believe I have to access the back of the water heater from inside the basement, but unsure if I can reach the area without crawling up in it. Can't find out till I remove a ton of stuff in basement, and can't do that here in the Rain Forest.

Sorry about that. It's a Cedar Creek. I edited the original post, but can't edit the title. I edited the year, too. It's a 2015.

OK. Don't know what year, but think that's at least somewhat similar to mine. On mine, I just looked..........I'm going to have to remove stuff in the bay on the drivers side, then move back that piece of cloroplast (?) or whatever is there for aesthetics only. It 'hides' the water pump and I'm THINKING the plug in for the water heater.

If I'm right, I'm not going to put in a permanent switch inside....I'm going to try what was proposed in a post up above with an inline remote:

I believe I can get to it. But it has to stop raining.

For fear the confusion of two switches will cause folks to turn ON the electric element without water in tank.

That was kind of my curiosity as well. Last 2 RV's had no switch on the water heater itself, just a switch inside.
