replacing light bulbs

over our dining area is a glass dome light. We need to replace the bulbs but can't figure out how to get the glass dome off. the metal tab on the bottom just won't move. Any help?

Info on your unit please and a picture would be awesome. Hard to help as there are hundreds of light fixtures out there...all different

If it's similar to this the knurl at the bottom unscrews. Need to use something to grip the knurl that will not allow slipping to unscrew it. There is most likely a nut under the knurl also. Maybe.

Sometimes for extra grip you need some non slip shelf liner.....
The kind you line the shelves with to stop plates from moving.
Or......rubber dot lined gloves, or even rubber dish cleaning gloves

We finally got the dome off our light but cant figure out how to replace the bulbs. Also what kind of bulbs are used in a 2016 rockwood ultra light

In order for us to help, you need to provide pictures.
Most light bulbs in RVs......and theres tons of them.....are usually press fit, or maybe press and turn 1/4 turn.
