Sewer hose extension

I recently purchased a new Roo and am preparing/learning as much as I can before taking it camping. The dealer gave me a cheap sewer hose for draining. I'm going to get a new one but I've heard that people recommend having an extension too. Can I (or is it worth the cost) to convert what they gave me into an extension?

I have the Rhino Flex 15 feet hose plus a 10 feet extension, used the extension a couple times, so I think it is still a good idea to have......

Get a heavy duty kit with two sections like Rhino flex. You won't regret it. Save the cheap one that came with your camper for emergencies.
You may want to order a support to keep your hose off the ground for the connections that stick up above the ground. Also a clear 45deg fitting so you can see when your tank is clean when flushing your tanks.

Don't waste your time with the cheapo the dealer gave you....buy the RhinoFlex along with either the 5ft or 10ft extension and you will be much happier.

Had bad luck with two Rhino hoses. Plus, the caps were not permanent. Went to Valterra Viper and like it better. That said, I think I could design a much better sewer hose arrangement than what is available............

My next project is to custom cut some regular house gutters and use them as support for the hoses leaving the trailer............bungee-ing them to the hose.

Rhino is a very good hose "IF" before you use them you "Secure and Lock" the end caps, they are NOT properly ready to use 50% of the time! Also "Before Use" look inside and you "Will/May" see a flap/tab where they cut the hose off that MUST be trimmed or it will cause "Waste Tank Debris" to catch! Youroo!!

Agree with others get rid of the cheap hose. Get a good one that you like. I have a Dominator 20 foot one. I like it is in two pieces and its accordion folding style. Its probably mid grade, very durable.
