Sewer smell

My 2020 Cedar Creek Cottage has a strong sewer smell. And when the furnace comes on it gets worse in the bathroom and bedroom. I don't know if anyone else has this issue. I'm talking to my dealer today.

I have that on occasion. If the MAXAIR fan is on when we flush it will pull nasty air out. Some toilets may not have a good seal and any pressure changes in the RV may pull nasty air Always make sure there is a few inches of water in the toilet bowl to cover the seal. There are other reasons but that is what works for us.

We had an issue with ours while running the fan in the bathroom. It was more pronounced as the tank filled. Ours was (is) under warranty and eventually our dealer went on the roof and discovered that the tank vent pipe was cut too short, ending a couple of inches below the roof line. They reportedly installed a coupler and sufficient pipe to bring it up where it belongs and we’ve had no further problems.
