Shower closure handle

Hello ... not sure I this is the right place for this or not ... so I apologize in advance if it is not ...
Tried to attach picture ... it worked but it is sideways ... but at least people can see the part ... 😊
I am looking for assistance ... the metal "catch" that goes on our glass shower enclosure has fallen off. We have tried two sided tape (the way t was attached originally), gorilla glue and other adhesives to attach back on the glass, but nothing seems to work ... any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch
Holly 🤗

I've had good luck with GOOP for this type of issue. I use masking tape or similar to hold in place until the glue dries.

If that doesn't work, try JB Weld. It can be found in hardware stores and big box stores.

Mine was held in place with a set screw, used loctite to stop from working loose.

I had the same issue. Never could get mine to stay on because the door was hard to close and open. I don't think the shower doors were assembled correctly from the factory. Finally during a recent trip the doors, although secured for travel, completely fell apart. The dealer said there were part missing and that is why it was not working properly. They contacted Forest River who said the dealer could not order just the replacement parts and had to order a whole new shower door. Having no choice I had them order a new door. After waiting and waiting for the door, the dealer contacted Forest River who said the replacement door had been damaged in shipping and returned by UPS. Forest River never bothered informing the dealer nor did they send a new door. So the dealer had to request another door to be shipped. The person on the phone with Forest River let it slip that she also had four other replacement doors being shipped for the same reasons. I have lost a lot of confidence in Forest River. My unit has been in the shop now for two months.

Sorry to hear ... we are lucky... our doors work fine and we used Goop as suggested by jleising and it worked like a charm. We ate very fortunate with our dealer. 5th is never in longer than 3 days in the two times we have had it in for warranty work. Wishing you all the best.

I was driving back from the FROG Rally in Goshen IN this weekend, upon my return the locking mechanism came unscrewed and the doors moved freely. Unfortunately I lost the set screw in the back of my door guide which is the same as yours. The screw apparently fell down the drain. I am trying to find a replacement set screw, because I don't want to have to replace the entire set of doors. Did you ever get yours replaced? If so, is there a brand or any identifying marks of who the manufacturer might be?
