Shower Floor unsupported?

Hello, in the shower of my new Grey Wolf 23DBH I noticed that it feels soft. I put my camera underneath and it looks like they didn't cut it out correctly around the drain. Is that something that I can pop out and repair myself or is it a huge job?Click image for larger version

You can fix yourself by adding support underneath floor, see thread below.

I used dense packing foam to build up the areas where there was no support. I did not glue so that if repairs are needed, simple to remove. Made a big difference.

Thanks for the replies. With the access panel so tight I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to block up the large cutout. Has anyone removed the "tub" and fixed it that way?

I used small pieces of the dense foam and built it up. Same small access point. Shove a piece in then put my hand in and stack. You can even do wedges and push together for tightening.

I noticed the same thing with our new Cherokee 18MT this weekend. Ours also doesn’t drain properly so I will be bringing it to the dealer...we will see what they do to address it. Click image for larger version

It's almost scary if you're able to look underneath and see how little is actually there and you're practically standing on nothing.

I did something similar to the “tub shower” in our 2504s. I used pieces of 2x4 to prop up the bottom of the tub. Feels much more sturdy now. Sorry I didn’t take pictures. Jay

I used pieces of dense shipping foam blocks to stiffen the shower floor. They come out real easy if there is a plumbing problem.
