shower heads
Has anyone improved their shower heads/hose in their trailers? I need some ideas as I hate the ones they come with.
Thanks
Jay

I am replacing mine with the Oxygenics - I have it in my trailer but havent had a chance to install it yet - my father said it was a good one so since he has camped for many years I took his advice

Love the oxygenics shower head; hate the on/off valve. It broke the fist week we used it. It also never shut off the water completely.
Replaced the plastic rotating valve with a brass gas ball valve that works perfectly and is not too heavy for the wall mount. We do put the head behind the vertical hose when we travel.

We also like the shower head and have not had a problem with our on/off valve. I like the fact that it does not shut the water off completely because it keeps the water temperature setting more constant than when you shut the water off completely. In fact, we leave the shower head open at about half way for the entire shower. The water does not get cold and does not need to be reset when you continue your shower and it feels more like a 'real' shower.

Oxygenics is really good !
X8 on the shower head being good. Order the extra shut off valve for the shower head and wall mount.
The DW was skeptical about the shower head being that good when it was first installed. After 1 1/2 weeks on the road, she is now convinced that she loves it.
If your shower hose is protruding out the top of the on/off control, it is upside down and the on/off do not work right.

Which model is the most practical for a camper?????
On Amazon there are a lot of negative comments regarding the quality of the units and that the hose starts to leak near the shower head after a few years....anyone here have that problem???
Tnx

Hose for shower head.
The hose that comes with the Oxygenics is very flexible and if it does go bad, you can purchase a new replacement hose that will fit at Lowe's, Home Depot. But look at it this way, Are you a full timer or just a summer time user. How much use will your family put on the hose? The shower head mixes air with the water to make you think you are using more water than you really are using there by conserving water.

Hmmm....the hose is "supposed" to leak air in so that it mixes with the water?????
