2014 Minilite. Shower stall leaks behind the toilet. I'm thinking about running a caulk bead to direct water back towards the shower base. Anyone have any suggestions for this? Thanks in advance!
We have an FR3 2015 30DS, and we have showered only 2 times and water was all over the floor, at least a quart or more after each use? What can I do not to void warranty issues? Thank you! Mike
I ran a double high caulking bead along the bottom edge of the shower pan at a slight angle as to dam the water and direct it back into the shower pan. It has worked perfectly, no more wet floor after showering. I put two of these beads, one at the back wall area and one against the sink vanity.
Thank you but you are unfortunately speaking with a non handy person who can handle caulking, but that is about it. So, will that not allow water to accumulate and rot the floorboard under the shower stall? Someone suggested that the "P-Trap" may not be connected?? Sorry for my ineptness here but I appreciate your kind help! Mike
Oh I assumed you had the issue the original poster had, which is the issue I had. The water would travel along the top edge of the shower pan and spill down onto the floor. You sound like you have a plumbing issue.
That's my very uneducated thought since it obviously "passed" inspection with something not connected properly? Thanks Forest River, that is the F'ing 3rd major issue with our FR3 in 3 MONTHS since we purchased it BRAND NEW from Total Value RV in Elkhart! I am pissed off big time and somebody had better be paying for the tech to come out here in the next few days!
NICE QUALITY control you asses! Hank the owner will be hearing from me about the bill because they talked me into a 7 year warranty for $4900!!!! And the tech visit is Not covered?
I hope one of you FR boys is reading this because this is total BS! I am looking into the "Lemon Law" with my attorney if this comes out of my pocket... ONE PENNY!!!!
