Shower stall leaking underneath

Any suggestions/recommendations as to what type and/ or brand of caulking should be used to prevent leaking of water around base of shower ?? Thank you

First you have to determine where it is leaking. If it's the drain, then plumbers putty might fix it. If it's the p-trap, tightening or replacing the nylon washer should work. If it is from the glass panels, then clear silicone around the rubber gasket works. If it's where the panels meet the base, then tub and tile caulking will work. If the fiberglass bottom is cracked, then it's a whole 'nuther ballgame. Good luck!!

Shower pan leak

I had this issue. Used DAP bath sealant around the area where the pan meets the wall. Also, opened up the access for the plumbing under the shower...resealed the metal drain cover and retightened the drain pipe...it was slightly loose. That worked. I expect I will have to repeat this process from time to time. The flexing of the TT and the shower pan when showering comes with the territory. Good luck.

I definitely do know where the water is coming from.. Old caulking has separated from wall and base of shower stall which lead to water going onto flooring under shower and coming out onto bathroom floor.
