Slow or no water

I have a 2005 Cherokee lite 29A+ travel trailer that I am having water issues with. We are hooked up to city water and over the past few days the water has gone from being slow to come out to non existent. At first it wouldn't come out and then I would hear the water pump make a noise and then it ran fine. Then it would take 30 sec to a min for the pump to make a noise and water to come out. Now it just dribbles out and after 3 minutes of waiting no sound from pump and no water?

We had a leak that required a new elbow joint next to the water pump that we recently fixed. prior to that we did not have this issue and I also have never heard the water pump make noise unless we are using water from the holding tank and our water pump switch is on. The switch is not on while these current issues are occurring since I'm not using tank water.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Have you disconnected the water hose at the site's spigot and verified that there's water pressure there?

You say no water...at all outlets?

sounds like to me that your inlet check valve is in backwarks or malfunctioning.

There is water coming to the trailer for sure.

In not sure what the inlet check valve is but I'll ask around and see if that is the problem.

No water at all outlets?

Have you tried putting some water in the FW tank and running the water pump?

the inlet check valve is built into the city water connection-- take your hose off and look in the inlet and see if the screen is plugged with debris---doesn't take much--- and if you have a pressure reducer on the line-- try taking that off...

If you are on (City) water the pump is not your problem. Check your in house (Filter). Is your fresh water tank running out the filler ? Youroo!!

if the water worked good before changing the elbow, i guess i'd pull that elbow off and check it or the lines in that area> could be some kind of blockage somewhere there.
