The grommets over the reset buttons for the water heater hi-limit thermostats were torn, so I ordered in a new cover and went to replace it today.
Only 2 screws, should be simple...man what a PITA!!!
The left hand screw is nearly impossible to remove and replace with the gas fitting elbow that goes into the top of the gas valve.
Lost 2 screws somewhere behind the gas valve. Have no idea where they went.
Next time I will just be putting duct tape over the reset button grommets.
