Suburban WH Question

I know that there are many threads about the suburban water heater on this forum, but I am trying to figure out what position the switch needs to be in to be on or off. I see the picture below and I know where the switch is located, I just don't know what is on and what is off!

The switch is in the ON position in the pic you have there.

You're very welcome. As stated in the tutorial link above, there is sometimes a hairpin cotter pin in the switches that you have to remove in order to turn the switch to the on position. This keeps it from accidentally getting flipped on, as in this pic.



EDIT: I think I will go ahead and add this pic to the tutorial, as it may help.

It should only be on if you have water in the water heater.
